On the way back to the Mahagandayon Monastery from U Pain Bridge, we saw a young monk studying on the platform surrounded by water, under a banyan tree.
I don't have any idea how he got there without wetting his feet.

Sunset on the way
This is one of most dramatic sunset I have ever seen. I saw this sunset when I was on a bus to Bagan from Mandalay.
I couldn't resist to take this sunset photos even though I had to take out my camera from the luggage.

U Pain Bridge under the moonlight
We got there in late evening and the sun was already set. While we were sitting in there to enjoy the evening breeze, the moon came up to shine.
I wish I could setup tripod on the bridge to take a good pic. Unfortunately the bridge was shaking whenever people walk nearby us. I set the high ISO, hold the breath ... got this...

The Mandalay Moat
Even though the photo is not a great photo of the Mandalay Moat, I just wish to upload. Thanks!
Mandalay Royal Golden Palace
The Palace was built by King Mindon in 1861 and was destroyed by bombing during the WWII. Current structures are reconstructed in 1996.
I had visited there while I was young before it was reconstructed. In my personal view, we should keep the ruins as it is, rather than rebuilding new structures.

Kuthodaw
The background is Kuthodaw Stupa and the foreground is one of the 729 stupas which house stone inscriptions, known as the world's largest book.

Monk
After going around the monastery, I saw a westerner taking photos of the monk and the guide requesting the monk to act.
I piggybacked their work and took this photo. :D I smiled and say thanks to them.

Monk - Candid Shot
After staying away from Flickr for months, I wish to upload some photos which I took during the trip to Myanmar.
This photo was taking in Shwe-In-Pin Monastery. When we arrived there, I looked in the monastery, a monk is standing against the light. I think the view is quite interesting to me and Click.
