Sunset in InnLay Lake

I went to Taung Gyi, the city of Shan State, Myanmar in December 2005 to attend my brother's wedding celebration. The ceremony was held as in PaO traditional style as my sister-in-law is a PaO.

After the wedding ceremony, we went to InnLay straight away. We stayed at Golden Island Cottages Hotel (http://www.gicmyanmar.com/), a floating hotel in InnLay Lake.

Just after dropping my bags, I took out my first point-and-shoot digital camera, Nikon E4300, and took the sunset scenery. I found this photo in my HDD and edited a bit to make it brighter.

Now I have Nikon D60. I think I can take better photos than point-and-shoot. I wish that I can go back to this place and take more photos.

Photos always remind memories. That's one of the reasons to take as many photos as possible...

Sunset in Miyajima

This photo was taken during my vacation trip to Japan. The place is called Miyajima, which is a small island near to Hiroshima City.

When I get to the island, it was about 4:00PM and the weather was cloudy. I was a bit disappointed because I wanted to take this giant torii gate with sunset view. Anyway, I took this photo after visiting nearby temples, when light of the gate on.

With the light from the gate and the sky, I got this nice photo though I didn't have chance to take the gate with nice sunset. I rank this photo as the most favorite photo of Japan Trip, and also My Photo of 2009.

Mt. Fuji

When we go to Mt. Fuji in September 2009, the weather was so fine until there is no cloud at all... Besides Mt. Fuji has no snow on it's top at all.

A friend who sent to us there told me that he has never seen Mt. Fuji without snow. Maybe because of global warming...

I was a bit sad because I dreamed to take Mt. Fuji photo with some snow. Anyway, I tried to get some photos. Hope you guys like it.

Blue Balls

I went to Orchard to meet friends last few weeks ago. That time I brought my camera because I know that Orchard will be decorated with lights for Xmas.

I am always lazy to bring along my camera even though I am interested in photography. Strange? That's why I missed opportunities to get good photos. There are 2 colors of lights in Orchard this year. One is blue and black as you see, another color is yellow and red which I do not like much.

I took this xmas light photo with the background of logo from nearby building. I don't know what building it is.

P.S: The title doesn't mean anything. Juz to describe the light in the photo. :P

Pre-Birthday Reflection

Tomorrow is my birthday. Yeah. One more year older.
This year the first digit and the second one will become same, after 3 years of first digit changed.

I have got very lovely parents and siblings who always wish my birthday in early morning. On my bright day, mom would come to my room in the early morning and wake me up with Happy Birthday song when we lived together. After that she would ask me to pray the Buddha with items to offer like flowers, fruits and breakfast.

We normally have special lunch and dinner to celebrate on the day.

Now I am living in a place which is quite far from home. Even though we can’t celebrate together, my family still call me in the early morning of my birthday to wish me. They are really lovely and the greatest gift for me.

I have no doubt that they will call me tomorrow to wish me “Happy Birthday”.
When I look back what I have done for them, in fact, nothing really much. I feel that I am not doing I should do. Really!

What I want to do to on this year birthday? I don’t have anything in mind yet. But friends booked Chalet to have BBQ party. Thanks you guys.

Try Hard

Life has been tough during the recession time for everyone whether you are working for other or working for yourself. We need to have winning mentality to fight what we want to achieve.

Sometimes it is easier to say than do because the environment around you is gloomier than expected.

We have been tried very hard to get better sales since last quarter but outcomes are not good enough.

Spent double figures for marketing yet sales is still the same.  That means need to spend more expense than before to get same revenue.

Humm ... Time is tough. News is bad. Everything is not look good.

Hopefully we will survive this downturn.
